About the plans
Why is everything free right now?
Ordinate 2D is in beta. Until the paid plans start, every feature that exists is free for everyone, so we can learn what people need. The prices will be announced before anything is charged.
Can students and teachers stay on the free plan?
Yes. The free plan is meant for learning and teaching: lecture notes, exams, homework and handouts. Only publication in papers, books or commercial work needs Pro.
What happens to my scenes when the beta ends?
Your scenes are files on your own device and stay yours. We will announce changes that affect saved work before they take effect.
Do you offer licences for a course or department?
Yes, that is the third plan. If you teach a course and would like to use Ordinate 2D with your students, tell us through the updates form; it helps us set the price.
